YOUR INPUT…. Lesson 1

Share:

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. (Hebrews 13:16)

Majority of Christians claims they are blessed, they are rich, they are healed and the rest, but the manifestations and the physicality of these are missing in their lives.! You can’t tell me you are rich and when it is time to give you close your hands. You can’t tell me you are healed and yet complain of headache.. You are operating in the opposite of what you believe or you’ve discovered or says. That’s why I started my statement by saying ” majority claims”. Don’t get me wrong.. What you speak must reflect in your life. if it doesn’t, it means you just speak or says it for saying sake, which is very bad.

Now, what I want us to look at under this topic( YOUR INPUT) is very vital to the body of Christ. It’s a topic and a message that will emphasize more on what you must do as you’ve discovered you are blessed through Christ. After discovering your position and stand in Christ, You don’t live for living sake but you live for others. You become a blessing unto others. And that is what is pleading unto God. Our opening text reads,

DO NOT NEGLECT TO DO GOOD AND TO SHARE WHAT YOU HAVE, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. (Hebrews 13:16)

As Christians and people belonging to God, we are not called to cater for ourselves and for our immediate family only. No!! We are called to extend our hands to others. Others must have a feel of the blessings that God has blessed us with. But what is happening in the body of Christ now, if a person is not a member of our family, such a person is never allowed to enjoy the fruit that we are blessed with.. This attitude is not what the Lord Jesus taught us. Anyone who is into this needs to study more concerning the new man he/she is now in Christ. We are called to be selfless and not selfish. We are called to demonstrate the LOVE OF GOD to others. So when John was saying this, look at how he framed it;

But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? (1 John 3:17)

Did you see that? Where is your love if you finds it difficult to bless others with the little that you are blessed with? Let me tell you this, you will be called blessed when you start blessing people with what you have. it pleases God when His children act and operate as Him( Hebrew 13:16)!

Your input matters a lot to God. Live as a man of blessing and be a blessing to others and not as a man looking for blessing. Let’s delve deeper tomorrow..
