The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations has officially launched the “One Million Coders” programme , fulfilling a key campaign promise made by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2024 election.

The ambitious initiative, aimed at equipping one million Ghanaians with in-demand digital skills, has kicked off with an online registration (application).

The programme is a cornerstone of President John Dramani Mahama’s vision for a digitally empowered Ghana, ready to compete in the global business process outsourcing (BPO) and knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) sectors.

“We are committed to ensuring no one is left behind in the digital revolution,” President Mahama stated during the 2024 campaign, emphasizing the programme’s inclusive approach.
