The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a strong denial of a circulating letter announcing a closing date for recruitment of university and diploma graduates.
The fake press release, which was widely shared on social media, claimed that the application deadline for these graduates would be August 22nd, 2024.
The GES has confirmed that the letter is entirely fabricated and does not originate from them.
While the GES and the Minister of Education have expressed their intention to recruit graduates from universities with education program certificates, they have not yet announced the start date or the closing date for recruitment.

According to them, they are currently in the process of finalizing the necessary details and will release an official announcement in due course.
The fake letter, which was purportedly released by the GES management, outlined specific criteria for applicants, including completion of mandatory National Service, possession of NTC certificates, and school certificates. It also mentioned a helpline for interested applicants.

The GES has urged all prospective applicants to disregard the fake letter and rely only on official information released through their verified channels.
